Coaches, Staff, Managers:

All coaches in your program, staff and managers who have contact with minors must be screened and take SafeSport training prior to any roster placement and working with the players.  Screening is done through NY State Hockey and the Commercial Investigations Group.

Visit NYSAHA.com for additional information and link. There is a fee for screening. Non-USA citizens will need to check the non-citizen box to screen internationally. There may be an additional or higher fee for an international screen. When your people screen they should send you their confirmation screening # with date screened.  Keep a list of these numbers to submit to NYSAHA.

Working with your clubs ACE Coordinator you will need to provide information on the coaches CEP Level, Module, Screening and SafeSport training to ensure each one meets the requirements of USAH and the NY District. In some cases leagues make rules stronger and as a registrar you will need to familiarize yourself with the rules and requirements of the league your teams participate in.
