State and National Bound Teams:

In the NY District, associations can field national bound teams at the youth Tier I or Tier II 14 & under, 16 & under and 18 & under levels depending on their club’s designation. Associations can field Girl’s national bound teams at Tier I or Tier II at the 14 & under, 16 & under and 19 & under levels and at the Women’s Senior A, B, and C.

The NY district also allows 12 & Under Youth and Girls teams, 14 & under, 16 & under and 18 & under Tier III teams to be NY State bound. These teams participate in a NY District Tournament but do not advance to a national tournament. The Tier III teams may be allowed participation in a regional tournament.

The registrar’s responsibility is to ensure that all rosters are created and labeled properly for these teams that are NY District State and National Bound. Teams that are NY District State and National Bound should have the letters “TB” placed in the team name.   The NY Technical Bulletin located in the USAH Registry outlines the proper procedure and guidelines for creating rosters and designating TB. In addition, the registrar should provide the current version of the Code of conduct and Consent to Treat Forms. Only the current forms will be accepted in the credential book. These are located in the USAH Registry.

The club registrar will need to work with each State and National Bound team throughout the season for any roster changes and credentials.

The NYRegistrar.com website outlines the criteria for credentials for all state and national bound teams under the credentials tab.

Rosters freeze for all state and national bound teams as of 12/31 of the current season. There are no exceptions.  If any of your teams qualify for the NY Districts championship state tournament you will need to provide the team with the pre-printed Credential Verification Sheet {CVS} which is created in the USAH Registry in the team screen. Along with the CVS, a team history needs to be sent to the team for inclusion in their credential book.
